About The Aurora Backlashers...
In 1991, Blackie Barton and Bill Berry decided Aurora needed a second bass fishing club So around the kitchen table at Robert Bowling's home, the Aurora Backlashers was established . The first official meeting was February 5, 1991, with 18 members present. Blackie Barton was elected president, Dave Hicks, vice-president and Robert Bowling, secretary.

THE PURPOSE OF THE BACKLASHERS IS TO PROMOTE FUN, OUTDOOR RECREATION, AND FELLOWSHIP IN A SPORTSMAN-LIKE MANNER THROUGH THE SPORT OF FISHING.
Meetings are third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Barton's Service Center,
1550 Church St, Aurora, MO. 65605 Prospective members are always welcome.
